Shamanism & Spirituality
Intorducing Shamanism into your everyday life can transform the way you act, think and connect with others and the environment. Part of the Shamanic method is the use of meditation, and research has shown that this can reduce stress levels, heart attacks and strokes.
Through practice, Shamans are able to alter their level of consciousness and connect intentionally with a parellel reality which is known as the "spirit world". Here they develop strong relationships with their helpers, guides and ancestors who all provide wisdom and insight enabling Shamans to help themselves and others on various levels, e.g. physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.
As a start, it is good spiritual practice to set your intention for the day and invite into your life the spiritual energies for the day ahead - welcoming them into your world. At the end of the day acknowledge and thank the universe for providing for you. Having respect for the environment and all living things means you are living in a spiritual way. What you give is what you get back. Everything we do on the inside affects life on the outside:-
"As above, so below; as within, so without"
